ARCHES® Aquarelle Watercolor Rough Art Pad
ARCHES® Aquarelle Watercolour Rough Art Pad | Various Formats
EXCLUSIVE 20-sheet art pad made traditionally from 100% cotton, ideal for wet painting techniques. Suitable for drawing with watercolors, gouache, ink, and acrylic paints. It offers exceptional color rendering properties because the paper has a fine grain with a subtle satin finish. The cotton fibers are evenly distributed, making the paper more stable and helping prevent it from warping. Its distinctive feature is a core made with natural gelatin, which prevents scratching without tearing or flaking. It maintains high gloss, natural transparency, and color saturation. Highly water-resistant. The sheets are white and have a weight of 185 g/m².

This paper’s rough texture is exactly what I needed for my expressive landscapes.
The rougher surface lets me create amazing dry-brush effects. It’s a pleasure to work with.
A great choice for techniques that use a lot of water. The paper holds its shape and takes pigment very well.
I bought this pad for my grandson, who loves to experiment, and he’s thrilled with how well the colors stay on the paper.
A top product I can always rely on for every commission.
