Daniel Smith PRIMATEK Mineral Watercolor Paint Set, 6 x 5 ml
Daniel Smith PRIMATEK Set of Mineral Watercolors / 6x5 ml
Bring more texture and depth to your work with these unique PRIMATEK watercolors, made from natural minerals from around the world. Each unique paint creates beautiful texture that gives your work a sense of magical movement.
Made from genuine mineral pigments, Daniel Smith PrimaTek watercolors come in an amazing variety of shades, from warm and subtle to sparkling and vibrant.
Since ancient times, artists have relied on pigments mined from the Earth. Today, we are returning to that tradition. Finding these minerals involves traveling to remote locations, identifying high-quality ore veins, and sourcing the minerals from local miners. The solid minerals are then processed to reveal the color inside. Our chemist and manufacturers mix the pigment with the precise amount of medium, then grind it again to bring out the natural beauty of each paint. With careful selection and a meticulous process, we bring you the best: paints with truly professional quality and consistency.

I bought 5 Daniel Smith watercolor sticks. The colors I chose were excellent.
I wish I’d discovered Buff Titanium sooner. I’ve tried different brands, and this one impressed me.
I’ve been a fan of Daniel Smith watercolors for years, and recently discovered that I love them in stick form too.
The color is quite dark, a blue-green, more of a blue-green shade than turquoise in masstone, but it brightens beautifully when diluted.
