My favorite watercolor pencils are Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer, and I’m constantly adding to my collection, especially earth tones. These watercolor pencils are excellent for layering and blending once activated with water. They’re also great for adding to and emphasizing areas after the watercolor painting has dried. This rich walnut brown was exactly what I needed for landscapes and other paintings.
I love these pencils, both on their own and for adding details over watercolor. I’m gradually building my collection as I use up individual pencils. They create a smooth finish, especially on smooth paper. I love their hexagonal shape, which is comfortable to hold and helps with my arthritic hands.
I love Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolor pencils. They’re easy to use, high quality, and match the colored pencils from the same brand. I really can’t find anything to complain about!
