This varnish creates a satin finish on the surface of your work and provides reliable protection against moisture, scratches, and dust. It also improves colorfastness and eliminates the need for additional varnishing. With Kamenskaya alcohol varnish, you can also make your own thinner for alcohol inks. Just add this varnish to any alcohol containing at least 96 percent alcohol to make ink thinner to suit your needs. One 100 ml bottle of varnish is enough to prepare up to 2 liters of thinner. The varnish is ideal for layering because the layers fix well and do not wash into one another. Use it strictly according to the instructions. We recommend using a pipette to measure the volume. One bottle is enough to prepare a fixing mixture with 2 liters of alcohol, which is especially useful when working on glass, plexiglass, or other smooth surfaces. Please note that the artwork should not be rolled up, as this could damage the varnished surface. Follow safety precautions when using the product: work in a well-ventilated area. The products are flammable and must be kept out of reach of children and away from open flames. In case of contact with mucous membranes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention. Warning! The size of alcohol molecules may change with temperature changes, and the amount of liquid in the bottle may vary while the weight remains unchanged. Water condensation may occur if stored incorrectly. Kamenskaya Alcohol Varnish is an irreplaceable aid for artists looking for perfect fixation and long-lasting protection for their ink art.

The KAMENSKAYA brand, founded in 2018 by Latvian artist Polina Kamenskaya, is the result of more than a decade of experience and knowledge in contemporary art techniques.
