Crackle Varnish With Fine Lines, 2-Step - 100 ml + 100 ml
Crackle varnish is used to imitate fine cracks on old porcelain. Pack contains: 100 ml Step 1 + 100 ml Step 2.
Application:
- apply Step 1 to the surface of an already decorated object,
- once it has dried, apply Step 2 and spread it thoroughly over the surface with your fingers,
- the Step 2 varnish layer will crack as it dries,
- you can highlight the cracks by rubbing a non-water-based coloring material into the surface (liquid patina or antiquing paste),
- the pattern of the resulting cracks depends on the thickness of each applied layer and the drying time,
- Step 2 is not water-resistant once dry, so the following day it must be coated with a varnish that can be thinned with thinner.
