Use
The canvas board is factory-primed with universal acrylic gesso, so it does not need to be primed beforehand. It is suitable for painting with acrylic paints, oil paints, and tempera paints, as well as for mixed media techniques and heavy body (thick) applications with a palette knife. Take care not to over-wet it when using very wet techniques, as this could cause the cardboard core to warp.
