The Rembrandt Deep Violets Soft Pastels Set from traditional Dutch manufacturer ROYAL TALENS (since 1899) is a professional choice for illustrators and painters. The pastels contain a high proportion of pure pigment, provide rich coverage, and leave a soft, easily blended mark, ideal for pastel and other textured paper.
The colors are easy to layer, blend directly on the surface, and smudge with a finger or tortillon. The individual half pastels can be broken for use with an edge or flat side, and the finished drawing can be fixed with fixative to prevent unwanted smudging.
