Schmincke Pigments 100 ml
Schmincke Pigments 100 ml | Various Colors
The Schmincke brand has met the highest quality standards for more than 130 years. One of the world’s most popular brands for artists, it offers a wide range of art supplies. The strictest standards and processes, developed by experienced academic painters around the world, are followed in the production of art supplies. Use these Schmincke color pigments to mix your own acrylic paints, oil paints, watercolors, or gouache at home. Add the appropriate medium to experiment and make paints easily and quickly. The powders contain 100 percent pure artist pigments, ensuring the highest possible brilliance, color intensity, and yield. The pigments contain no cadmium or cobalt. They offer maximum lightfastness, and are sifted and very finely ground. The amount of binder needed varies considerably depending on the pigment used. You can tell the pigment-to-binder ratio is right when the dried paint has a smooth surface and does not rub off when spread with a dry palm. The powders come in 100 ml glass bottles, and their weight varies depending on the type of pigment. In addition to paints, the pigments are also suitable for various other art techniques (e.g., mixing into resin) and mixed media.

They have a consistency of their own, a little different from regular Horadam paints. They’re easier to apply and spread.
One tube leaked from the cap, but the rest arrived safely (hence the 4 stars). I haven’t had a chance to try them yet.
If you’re looking for a paint with a subtle granulating effect, this is for you!
More heavily pigmented than the Earth set. The paint has a different texture from other watercolors.
This blue pigment is incredibly rich. Just a tiny amount is enough to mix my own color in the perfect shade.
