Schmincke Watercolor Set in Tubes, Super Granulation, 5 x 15 ml
Schmincke Super Granulation Watercolor Paint Set in Tubes 5x15 ml | Set volcano
Horadam Super Granulation Aquarell Set contains 5 granulating watercolor paints in 15 ml tubes. The paints are stored in an elegant wooden case with the Schmincke brand logo. Artists are increasingly fond of granulating paints because of the special effect they create. The paints may seem pale, but this effect is desired in certain techniques. Granulation means that the pigments in the paint “clump together” to create a pronounced, grainy surface. This fantastic effect is ideal for creating beautiful works of art! The paints dissolve easily and are suitable for all watercolor techniques. The paints can also be easily mixed with other watercolor ranges from the Schmincke brand. To increase the granulating effect and achieve unusual color shifts, simply mix granulating paints. We recommend testing first, as some paints are more dominant while others have a weaker effect. The color-shift effect also changes depending on the mixing ratio and range of colors. As a rule, the rougher and more textured the paper, the stronger the granulating effect. More absorbent papers require a little more water. Satin papers pressed with heat are not suitable.
